Oh Dear.....

Morning folks and a big thank you for all your sympathetic comments about my ribbon fetish...it's nice to know that I am not alone but I have to confess that unfortunately that is not my only fetish....oh no.....I also have a big thing about buttons....gorgeous papers and of course the biggest fetish of all....the rubber one and before you get any weird ideas....that is stamps of course and over the years my Hero Arts and Penny Black families have grown and grown.
My lovely bloggy buddy Jenny asked a question over at Penny Black Circle....

How Many Penny Blacks Do You Own?.....

I couldn't possibly answer that question without incriminating myself....so I am taking the 5th Amendment on that one....let's just say a LOT and I fear that my up and coming visit to NYC where I won't be able to resist a visit to the coolest stamp store in the whole world.....The Ink Pad  will only feed the fetish......floor to ceiling rubber heaven jam packed with lots of my favourites.

And of course all things Timmie...Lord of All Things Holtizness is also on the fetish list and it's very difficult to resist temptation when the lovely David & Brenda at Craft Obsessions keep sending me those pesky newsletters about all the new Timmie products in stock...will I be able to resist...what do you think.
What am I up to today...secret project completed just need enough daylight to get photos...the usual after the weekend household chores and I think a little cookathon may be the order of the day...stocking up the freezer for the wintry days with lots of home made soup.  And I will be having a little tidy up in the cubbyhole all ready for my special visitors tomorrow...my lovely buddies Anne... Debbi and Lyn are coming to spend the day with me...can't wait...it will be a day of crafty chat..lots of fun and hopefully some time to play.
Hugs Kath xxx

  2. oops sorry Kath made a boo boo. What I wrote first time was goobblygook lol. This is what I meant to say lol. Your are so lucky over there, that shop looks like a dream come true. Over here in N Ireland we dont have that many craft shops and they certainly aren't filled like that. Unless I am missing them! If anyone knows one let me know,I'll be there like a shot. Sorry for whittering on lol

  3. I have to admit I'm with you Kath about not admitting how many stamps I have - of any brand but especially Penny Black, Hero Arts or House Mouse.

Hope you had a lovely crafty chatty day.

  4. When people ask me how many I have of one craft item or another (mostly my cricut cartridges) I tell them...."shhhh that's like asking a lady her age or weight"
