Fun at The Papeterie

Morning folks.....I had a real fun day at The Papeterie on Saturday....big thanks to all the lovely folks who came along and kept me company at my morning Hero Arts "Be Inspired" demo showing different ways of using one set of stamps.....one of my absolute favourites "Delicate Blossoms"...
and some of the demo cards......

but hey time flies when you are having fun and before you know the demo is over....time to grab a quick cuppa and a bite to eat and get ready for the afternoon workshop.....a big thank you to all the lovely crafters who came along especially the lady who travelled all the way from Inverness...a round trip of 166 miles on a day of lashing rain and atrocious driving condtitions.   They were an absolute pleasure to teach and such fun.   And for all those folks who are regular attenders at my workshops...we only over-ran by 5 minutes....I know an absolute record for me and we even had time for a coffee break halfway through....looks like I am getting the hang of this finally.  Lots of chatting and the conversation got round to blogs with me encouraging the ladies to start a blog and hey ho the lovely Annette has just gone and done it.....mind you I didn't tell her at the time how addictive it can be...she'll find that out for herself....so pop over HERE and give her a lovely blogland welcome.

such tidy work areas.....
and here's what we made.....a sweet desk calendar....

I am having a bit of a Timmietastic day snuggled on the sofa watching my hero on QVC....just getting in Timmie mode you understand.....crikey only 3 sleeps now....excited excited excited and even more excitement to deal with tomorrow.

Sorry Kath I forgot to ask you, can you tell me what the stamps are called that you have used in your samples and where I could get them especially the one in card 4 and the two in card 5 (pink)

Fabulous cards Kath. That has to be one of my favourite HA stamp sets too. I keep using it.

I had a sneaky peek at QVC at midnight and I'm having a quick look just now. Really need to do some housework though and check these pups. They seem to be even naughtier than ever today!!

Stunning cards Kath - you really do get the most from your stamps I love every single one of them and the calendar too. Enjoy Timmie and try and refrain from spending - you'll need that cash for the big day!

Well Mrs K, thse are all fab of course. I love the colours you used. Now I have to tell you something here and I dont want you to get all poopy with me... BUT guess who I saw on Sunday???? Oh yes, Lord Timmy of Holtzville, his royal Timminess himself :) Before you start crying, I have to tell you that he was walking out of the NEC as we were walking in - he was off for his lunch. No words, hugs or body fluids were exchanged, I promise!! Well I was on a mission to get a pic wth him to send to you but could I find him???? Nope I did not sadly. Anyway you haven't got long now. I hope you packed the heavy duty knickers love and plenty of them as well. What I would not give to see your face when he walks in lol!! If we don't speak, have the best time and ring me when you get back and give me all the gory deets please pretty please. Biggest hugs and lvoe you loads xxxx

Fab cards and colours, they work so well. Like Scrappymax, I would like to know where we can buy these stamps.. I'm new to the world of card making and stamping in particular, so have yet to figure all this out! x

I love exploring the possibilities of one stamp - this was a feast for the eyes; thank you so much for posting it. The next best to seeing it in person is seeing it in blog form. Hope you have a rest after all that hard work.

I was there on Sat and had a great time. I have put what I made up in the kitchen and keep looking at it and marveling at how lovely it is.

Charlotte at the Papertrie phoned me when the stamp came in but I have projects to finish first ;-)

Thank you so much for a great class. Looking forward to the next one.
