Penny Black Saturday Challenge - August

Hi folks...the first Saturday in August means it's time to head over to Penny Black Saturday for this month's challenge which may or may not be appropriate to describe the weather in your area...Summer started off so well in the my neck of the woods but we should know by now that the weather can be fickle and currently it's a bit of the old "all seasons in one day"..."don't go out without a rain jacket" situation...one of life's little hiccups perhaps and you never know...tomorrow may well be...
BRIGHT & SUNNY

If you're a regular reader of this old blog you'll know that I'm currently knee deep and up to my elbows in the DIY painty stuff and believe me it felt so good to spend a little time in the cubbyhole making a card...even if it was a quick dash in and out affair...a super speedy stamping and colouring session with some Distress Ink Pads...a few bits of Cut 'N Dry...one of my favourite Penny Black Transparent Sets...Social Butterfly and this gorgeous Moroccan Stencil that arrived with my Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit...
As always there are fabulous prizes to win from our generous sponsors and gorgeous inspiration from my lovely teamies...time for you to look out your Penny Blacks and get inking while I make my way back to the painty production line with my "can almost see the wood for the trees now" hat on for a hot date day with a door and a pot of gloss paint. And today's weather....bright blue sky...hardly a cloud to be seen but it's blowing a hooley so who knows what way it will go.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

  13. Yes it is sunny and bright here - (one minute - then the next showers) but that's all good - at least my garden thinks so. Lovely to be a bit cooler - but that means I can tackle the ironing again....ah well - hope you have a good week-end Kath. X

We're just back from Crieff and I think it was the same down there. This morning when we were up at the Hydro Poppy said it was a hurricane. She never exaggerates lol!
