Christmas Gifts...

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog...thank you for joining us for last week's "O ChristmasTree"challenge...we hope you can join us this week too because...
and the theme for this week is...
CHRISTMAS GIFTS
It's the first Monday of the month when we showcase one company's products and this week the Design Team are using our very own Simon Says Stamp products

I found some bargain Kraft bags and a huge roll of brown paper parcel wrapping in my local pound (dollar) store and decided to decorate the bags and customise the parcel wrap to match one of this year's Christmas card designs.

I carefully removed the handles from the bags to get a nice smooth surface for stamping and inked up my favourite sentiment stamp from the Simon Says Stamp "Believe In The Season" release with Versamark ink...heat embossed with Ranger Fine Detail White embossing powder and stamped the additional sentiment with Black Archival ink.
time to look out The Misti...the amazing stamp positioning tool that is truly your best friend when it comes to batch stamping. I stamped loads of images from the gorgeous Winter Flowers stamp set...I love this stamp set so much and it goes without saying it will definitely be a "year-after-year" favourite...
some easy peasy simple watercolouring using Distress Markers and a Ranger Detailer Water Brush...
and no fussy cutting when you use the matching dies to do the work for you...
I added the die cuts with Ranger Multi Medium Matte...created splatters with Distress Picket Fence Paint and coated the berries with Glossy Accents...
punched holes in the top of the bag and closed with ribbon...
Gift bags completed...I set to work on the gift wrapping...
I cut the paper to size and roughly outlined the top of each parcel with pencil...stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Fine Detail White embossing powder. I then repeatedly stamped with Versamark ink and left it to dry to create a tone on tone look.
erased the pencil marks and wrapped the parcel...added Crinkle Ribbon...the Winter Flower Die Cuts and coated the berries with Glossy Accents.
