Happy 7th Birthday Simon Says...

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog...thank you for joining us for last week's challenge...we hope you can join us this week too because...

As it's the first challenge of the month and it's also Simon Says Stamp 7th birthday the design team are showcasing our very own Says Stamp Products! and the theme this week is...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
We would like you to create something to help with our birthday celebration! It could be a card, a tag to attach to a gift, a gift or maybe a birthday banner or cake topper! Whatever you decide to make we will be looking forward to seeing how you join us for the party!
This month we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Simona Rebecchi  aka Ginny and the Sheep so make sure you pop by her fabulous blog and leave her some special Simon Says Stamp love.

I made a card using some of my favourite Simon Says Stamp products....

I started off by creating a background with Distress Oxide Inks...you all know the drill by now...lots of smooshing, drying, spritzing etc etc. I then applied Ranger Opaque Matte Texture Paste through the gorgeous Circular Lace stencil from Simon Says...
The texture paste as it dries will absorb some of the ink from the background so once the paste was thoroughly dry...I gently scribbled over the surface with the Picket Fence Distress Crayon to whiten it up again.

You can find all the products I used over at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp online store...just click on the links below...

Why don't you pop over to the Monday Challenge Blog and check out the amazing creations from my very talented Design Team mates and you all have the chance to win not ONE but TWO $50 gift vouchers to spend at Simon Says StampYou have until Monday 8am Ohio time...1pm UK time...2 pm CET to join in...
