Mellow Yellow...

Hi folks...I've had another play with my yummy April DT goodies from The Ribbon Girl and although the colour yellow is normally way out of my cardmaking comfort zone...I have to say I'm loving the mellow yellow of Scattered Straw Distress Paint mixed with the Burlap panels...the gorgeous Mixed White Dahlia...Ivory Dahlia Resin Flat Back flowers and that zingy Gold Candy Check Ribbon...a very Springlike colour palette which by the way doesn't match the temperature outside...it's returned to that old familiar more like Autumn heading for Winter.
a little bit of stencilling on the white panels and lots and lots of my favourite Remnant Rubz...

but it's spot the deliberate mistake time...oops I never noticed that little bit of Redline Carrier Tape until I uploaded the photo and to be honest I couldn't face a repeat of the "nightmare to get a half decent photo" session.
See you all tomorrow
Hugs Kath xxx

Hi Kzth such a pretty accordion card, the colours are lovely. The sun is shining here at the moment, but I hope it's warmer than yesterday's freezing cold winds x

What an amazing card Kath - (those pesky bits of tape get static and I end up doing an impression of Mick Jagger to get them off my fingers). But we would never have known. Got caught up my allotment in the thunder and lightening today and took shelter in my brand new polytunnel. (Put up for me by the lovely Mick and Mark this week-end). I was inside doing a victory dance - I've only waited 30 years since my last one. Anyone watching me probably thought I was either fighting off a bee, having a very odd moment or heaven forbid doing a rain dance which caused the downpour in the first place. Must remember that you can see through the plastic! Hope you are having a good week-end too. X
